Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) night shift position requiring a UT or compact RN license and NIH Stroke certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assignment duration is 12 weeks
• No local candidates accepted per 50 mile radius rule
• Responsibilities include caring for critically ill cardiovascular patients in the ICU
• Professional references required (specific requirements vary by state)
• First time travelers will be considered
• All certifications must be valid and not expire within the first 30 days of assignment

Requirements

• Active UT or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent related CVICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC are required
• Valid NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
