Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) night shift position requiring a UT or compact RN license and NIH Stroke certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Assignment duration is 12 weeks
- No local candidates accepted per 50 mile radius rule
- Responsibilities include caring for critically ill cardiovascular patients in the ICU
- Professional references required (specific requirements vary by state)
- First time travelers will be considered
- All certifications must be valid and not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
Requirements
- Active UT or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent related CVICU experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC are required
- Valid NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
