Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with a CO or compact license for 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital operating room setting
• Shifts are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care provided to surgical patients requiring perioperative nursing
• Perform perioperative nursing duties including patient preparation, intraoperative support, and post-anesthesia care
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary surgical team
• Assignment does not accept first time travelers
• Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent operating room RN experience
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required with expiration valid through assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must provide professional references as required by state
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No local candidates within a 50 mile radius
