Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Transitional Unit (Heart and Vascular Recovery) night position requiring a MO or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Heart and Vascular Recovery Unit, specializing in cardiac transitional care
• Patient population includes those recovering from cardiac and vascular procedures
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week assignment
• Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
• Up to five days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible under a local contract with specific duration rules
• Consecutive local assignments limited to three 13-week contracts at the same facility before a one-year separation or transfer to another facility outside the 50-mile radius is required

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• At least one year of recent experience in the cardiac transitional or similar specialty
• No gaps in employment of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Current certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment, unless proof of renewal is provided
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
