Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a WI or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Position based in a hospital Emergency Department
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Care for a diverse patient population presenting with emergency conditions
• May work varied shifts as required by the department
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
• Required to clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
• Cannot have certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment
• Must be resigned in the HealthTrust HR System if previously employed by the health system
• Adherence to hospital dress code and policies required

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent ER nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
• No gaps of 90 days or more in work history within the last 12 months
• SSN required and must be able to provide documentation; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Certifications must be valid for the duration of the assignment
• Must not be currently employed as permanent staff at any location within the health system
