Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring recent Epic proficiency and competency in circulator and PACU roles.

Responsibilities

Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
Case types include orthopedics, C-sections, limited other gynecologic procedures, general surgeries, podiatry, robotic procedures, and endoscopy
Day shifts are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with schedule variability based on caseload
On-call required every 3rd to 4th weekend and one weekday, with frequency based on department needs
Epic EMR is utilized; proficiency required
Epic orientation and testing required if previous Epic experience was not at Parkview Hospital
Responsibilities include circulating for various surgical procedures and providing PACU care
Must be prepared to care for diverse patient populations from pediatric to geriatric
Travel experience not required
First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

Active IN or compact RN license, or eligibility for licensure
Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience
Proficiency in Epic EMR within the past year in a similar unit required
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Ability to function independently in circulator and PACU roles
