Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a minimum of 2 years experience and current ARRT (N) or CNMT credentials for varied inpatient and outpatient imaging.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 176-bed hospital imaging department providing services for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients
• Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures including HIDA scans, lung scans, GI bleeding scan, gastric emptying, lymphoscintigraphy, bone and thyroid scans
• Use Siemens Symbia nuclear camera, Cerner RadNet EMR, Philips Enterprise PACS, and BIODOSE tracking software
• 8-hour day shifts alternating weekly between 6:30am-3:00pm and 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday
• On-call rotation every other week: after hours 4:00pm-6:30am Mon-Fri and 24-hour call on weekends during on-call weeks
• Holiday coverage required for one holiday
• No floating required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Must be able to cover one designated holiday
• Wear any color scrubs; pants must be a solid color and tops can be print or solid
• Returning permanent staff must have a 6-month separation before being considered as a traveler

Requirements

• Current ARRT (N) or CNMT certification and BLS required
• At least 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience
• Experience with QC/QA and diagnostic procedures such as hepatobiliary scans, lung scans, GI bleeding studies, gastric emptying, lymphoscintigraphy, bone, and thyroid scans
• Experience with Cerner RadNet EMR and Philips Enterprise PACS preferred
• License required if applicable
• No local candidates within a 60 mile radius
