Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of Siemens MRI experience and current ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a radiology department specializing in MRI imaging
• Evening shifts Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• No call, weekends, or holiday shifts required
• Assignment length is flexible from 13 to 26 weeks
• All Siemens scanners utilized including Vida, Aera, Skyra, and Avanto
• Exams performed include routine neuro, body, and musculoskeletal studies with no cardiac MRIs
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Training provided for ECG and medication safety assessments during orientation
• Permanent staff may not return to assignments at the facility for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments at the facility are limited to no more than 18 consecutive months with a required 6-month break before returning
• Negative drug and nicotine screen is required

Requirements

• Active ARRT (MR) and AHA BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist
• Must have experience working with Siemens MRI equipment
• Permanent Ohio license required at the time of consideration (compact licenses accepted for starts 1/1/23 forward)
• Must be nicotine-free and able to pass a 10-panel and nicotine (cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start
• Background check with BCI/FBI prints completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Two supervisory references required in the specialty within the past 12 months
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be passed during orientation
• 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty required prior to travel
• License required if applicable
