Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of Siemens MRI experience and active ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a radiology department performing MRI procedures
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No call hours, weekends, or holiday shifts required
• All MRI scans performed on Siemens equipment, including Vida, Aera, Skyra, and Avanto models
• Range of exams includes routine neuro, body, and MSK studies; cardiac scans are not performed
• Flexible contract length ranging from 13 to 26 weeks
• All MRI technologists must be nicotine free
• Travelers may not return to this system for 1 year after the previous end date
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing will be completed during orientation and require a satisfactory score
• Assignments at this location cannot exceed 18 consecutive months, with a 6-month waiting period before returning
• Scrubs or dress code policy will be provided at orientation

Requirements

• Active ARRT (MR) certification required
• Active AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• Siemens MRI scanner experience required
• Permanent Ohio license required; compact licenses accepted for certain start dates
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start
• At least two professional supervisory references within specialty are required for consideration
• License required if applicable
