Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist with a valid CA license, ARRT(R), CRT(M), and BLS for a day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a mammography department focused on routine and specialized breast imaging procedures
• Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Patient population consists of adults requiring breast imaging for diagnosis, monitoring, or treatment
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Responsible for performing high-quality routine and specialized mammography procedures and ensuring accurate results
• Must adhere to privacy and safety protocols per local, state, and federal regulations
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills, independent judgment, and effective patient communication
• May orient new staff and perform specific additional procedures as assigned
• Return staff must have a 1-year gap before returning as a traveler
• Only one holiday time off request will be approved
• Candidates must be available to complete required lab work within 3-5 days of offer
• Radius rule applies: candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; locals are accepted at a local rate
• Modules are completed during orientation via e-learning

Requirements

• Current CA state license required
• Certification in ARRT(R), CRT(M), and BLS required
• Minimum of 2 years mammography experience required
• Must provide 2 professional references from the last year
• License required if applicable
