Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high acuity Med/Surg Surgery Trauma day shift position requiring Epic experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based high acuity Med/Surg Surgery Trauma unit
- Patient population includes spinal neuro trauma, surgical trauma, gunshot wounds, quadriplegic and paraplegic cases
- 12-hour day shifts with three shifts per week
- No block scheduling available; must be flexible with assigned shifts
- Epic EMR usage is required
- No time off (RTO) requests will be approved during the assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- Must be able to provide up-to-date resume, skills checklist, references from recent supervisors or managers, certification cards, and Nursys license verification for consideration
- Patient care includes management of trauma and post-surgical complications
- Professional attire and badge-appropriate photo required
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum two years of recent experience in Med/Surg Surgery Trauma specialty
- Epic EMR experience required
