Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 5+ years of experience in Cardiac Spect, general nuclear studies, and recent Epic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a nuclear medicine unit within a radiology/cardiology department
• Monday through Friday day shifts, 7:30am to 4:00pm
• No on-call or weekend shifts required
• Patient population includes those requiring cardiac and general nuclear diagnostic studies
• Uses Epic, ISCV, GE PACS, and GE Xeleris operating systems
• Role involves performing Cardiac Spect and varied general nuclear studies using advanced imaging equipment
• Experience with GE PACS and GE Xeleris systems is necessary
• Travelers may be required to float per facility needs
• References required for consideration
• All requested time off must be declared prior to submission; additional requests not permitted
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Return travelers must be noted for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nuclear medicine required
• Must have prior travel experience
• CNMT (ARRT or NMTCB) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic experience within the last 12 months is required
• Proficiency in Cardiac Spect and general nuclear diagnostic studies required
• Must pass Epic competency exam
• Valid TN or Compact state license required if applicable
• Males must be clean-shaven to pass fit test
• Flu vaccination required; exemptions not accepted
