Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit (6F)
• Adult medical-surgical patient population
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Provide comprehensive care to adult Med/Surg patients on a busy hospital unit
• References must meet state-specific requirements
• All required certifications must be valid with no expiration within first 30 days of assignment

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year recent Med/Surg experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
• Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the last 12 months
• One professional reference required
