Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position with a VA or compact license and recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assignment length is 8 weeks
• Care for a general med/surg patient population
• Responsibilities include delivering acute medical and surgical care to a diverse adult patient population
• Night shift role may require working weekends and holidays as needed
• Must meet facility requirements for paperwork and compliance prior to assignment

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must provide US SSN and date of birth for consideration
• At least one professional reference required (two for candidates from Florida or Missouri)
• No local candidates permitted; must live outside a 50 mile radius
