Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel position requiring a valid VA or compact RN license and recent Med/Surg nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Caring for a general adult medical-surgical patient population
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility for eligibility
Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
Responsibilities include direct patient care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Professional attire and adherence to facility policies required

Requirements

Active VA or compact RN license
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg nursing
Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required, with expiration dates beyond first 30 days of assignment
Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration (no Canadian SSNs)
At least one professional reference required for submission (two if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
