Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Vermont requiring a VT or compact RN license and current ACLS, BLS, and pediatric certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department at a critical access hospital
• Night shift schedule with varied hours
• Direct patient care to a diverse patient population across all ages
• Utilize the nursing process to provide evidence-based care under department and specialty standards
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation to team members
• Must comply with all state and federal healthcare regulations and policies

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC
• De-escalation training required and must be active or scheduled prior to start
• No minimum experience required
