Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for an evening shift assignment, requiring at least one year of MRI experience and an active GA or Compact license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the MRI department within a hospital setting
- Evening shift, Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- No weekends or on-call required
- Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
- Travelers may be required to float within scope depending on facility needs
- RTO (time off) must be submitted with application and is limited to a maximum of 7 days
- No holiday RTO can be requested if one or two major holidays occur during assignment; if three, one holiday RTO may be reviewed for approval
- If assignment falls during a holiday period, traveler is expected to work the required holidays
- Travelers must be away from all Piedmont facilities for a full year to return as a traveler
- Modules are completed during orientation and are not billable
- Facility does not permit travel pairs to be assigned the same shift on the same unit
- No blocked scheduling is permitted
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year MRI experience required
- Current GA or Compact license must be in hand at the time of consideration (license required if applicable)
- Two supervisory references are highly preferred for consideration
- Must be able to provide core compliance documents and schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing
