Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring night shifts, a minimum of two years’ experience, and an active OK or compact RN license with specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 10-bed Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes laboring mothers and newborns
• Night shift, working 3x12 hours from 18:45 to 7:00
• Floating required to other units and facilities within a 75-mile radius
• No block scheduling accommodated
• Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care throughout the labor and delivery process
• Orientation includes required online modules completed during orientation, with hours varying by specialty
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Holiday time off is not permitted, and no more than five days of requested time off will be allowed per 13-week contract
• Professional scrubs required

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license in hand
• At least two years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Must provide a valid driver’s license or state-issued ID and a utility bill with a matching address dated within three months of projected start
• Permanent address must be more than 75 miles from the contracted facility
• No pending state licenses accepted
• No previous adverse license actions
• Must have two supervisory references
• Must have at least one year since previous employment at Integris if returning
