Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with IR scrub and special procedures experience for a day shift position requiring ACLS, BLS, and NJ licensure.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
• Day shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Average daily caseload ranges from 7 to 15 cases
• Call is required: covers 5 weekday nights and 1 full weekend every 6 weeks
• May float between multiple campus locations as needed
• Hybrid OR experience is desired
• Medication system: Pyxis
• Uniforms and parking provided at each facility
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• Technologists complete a 2-day orientation on arrival
• Uniforms are provided by the facility
• Late requests for time off are unlikely to be approved and may need to be made up later
• Candidates must provide their SSN, DOB, and copies of required certifications for consideration

Requirements

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required
• NJ Radiologic license required (can be obtained prior to start; license required if applicable)
• IR, scrub, and special procedures experience required
• ARRT VI certification preferred
• At least 1.5 years of relevant experience required
• Must provide one manager reference from the past 24 months for consideration
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the standard travel rate
