Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in an acute neurosurgery and ENT unit with trauma level 1 experience required.

Details

• Hospital-based role in an Acute Neurosurgery and ENT unit
• Patient population includes neurosurgical and ENT cases
• Night shift schedule: 7:00pm - 7:00am, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Trauma Level 1 environment requiring prior relevant experience
• Block scheduling is not offered

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum one year of nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Diploma, ADN, or ASN

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing clinical nursing care and coordinating patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Care duties include patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for complex neurosurgical and ENT patients
• Expected to participate in ongoing education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and performance improvement activities
• Must promote a safe and clean work environment and support regulatory compliance
• Must report to the lab for drug screening within 24 hours of commit
• First-time travelers will be considered
