Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Sonographer for a 13-week acute care contract with strong echocardiography skills and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care setting specializing in echocardiography
• Day shift, 10 hour shifts scheduled
• 13-week contract assignment
• Utilizes Cerner as the EMR system
• Expectation to perform advanced echocardiography procedures in an acute environment
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• May be required to float within appropriate clinical scope if facility policy applies
• Dress code or scrub color not specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required
• Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted
• BLS (AHA) and RDCS certification required
• Experience with Cerner preferred
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one supervisor or peer from within the last 3 years including employment dates and rehire eligibility
