Job Description

American Traveler seeks a Physical Therapist for a home health assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent home health experience and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting covering 13 counties
• Day shift, typically 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30
• On-call required one Sunday every 5 weeks
• Every 5th week, schedule includes working Saturday and Sunday for admissions with 2 weekdays off
• Patient load varies based on travel distance; fewer patients are scheduled when coverage requires more travel
• EPIC charting experience is preferred
• Black, grey, or khaki pants and a polo or scrub top are required; no prints are allowed
• Modules must be completed during orientation and are recorded in MyPath
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at the same rate
• Return staff must have a 1-year break before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Travel PT experience is preferred
• RTO (requested time off) must be provided for consideration

Requirements

• Current state PT license required if applicable
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required
• Minimum 1 year of recent home health PT experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
