Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in California requiring at least 3 years of relevant experience and current CA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
• Day shifts consisting of four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 to 18:00, with varied days off
• Rotating weekend shifts are required
• Varied on-call nights and weekends are required
• 13-week contract with potential to extend
• Epic charting experience is preferred
• Operate complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment
• Assist physicians during a variety of invasive imaging procedures
• Educate and prepare patients for procedures, medications, and use of contrast media
• Modules and e-learning are completed during orientation
• Return staff must have been gone for at least 1 year to be considered
• Only one holiday request for time off will be approved
• Candidates must be willing to undergo lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• All candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Locals are accepted at the local rate

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross) required
• Minimum of 3 years recent relevant RN experience is required
• IR or Cath Lab experience is preferred
