Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/PCU night shift position in Mississippi requiring a compact or MS RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a stepdown/progressive care unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 19:15
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Care for stepdown level patients with progressive needs
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Floating may be required based on staffing needs
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Applicants must provide immunization and work history documentation
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of the rotation

Requirements

• Active MS or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent experience in stepdown or PCU nursing
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
• Driver’s license required for consideration
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility in the past 2 years
• Certifications must remain active and not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
