Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology night shift position requiring a VA or compact RN license and ONC certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the 6W Oncology unit within a hospital setting
• Provides care to oncology and medical-surgical patient populations
• Night shift schedule is 7:00PM to 7:00AM
• 13-week assignment length
• No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Must submit complete application and credentialing documents for consideration
• Position does not allow Canadian SSNs
• Role requires providing comprehensive nursing care to oncology and general Med/Surg patients

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license
• Current ONC (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification required for oncology nurses
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg or oncology experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
• Must provide US Social Security Number and Date of Birth for consideration
• Professional reference required (additional references if applying from Florida or Missouri)
