Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with chemo certification for a night shift Oncology position requiring a VA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Oncology unit of an acute care hospital
• Patient population primarily includes oncology cases
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00PM to 7:00AM
• 13-week assignment
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
• RNs are expected to provide specialized oncology care to patients undergoing chemotherapy and related treatments
• Holiday coverage may be required based on unit needs

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent oncology nursing experience required
• Chemo certification (ONC) required for all RNs in Oncology
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference required (two for Florida and Missouri residents)
• No gaps in employment history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
