Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro/Trauma unit day shift position requiring a VA or compact RN license and NIH Stroke Certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is on a Neuro/Trauma unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local candidates accepted; must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Duties focus on providing direct patient care to neuro and trauma patients
• Compliance with documentation and verification standards required
• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent specialty experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted, valid for at least 30 days from assignment start)
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Must provide US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
• At least one professional reference required unless otherwise specified
