Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a ME or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit
• Provides care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• 12-hour night shifts
• 13-week assignment
• Collaborate with physicians and other team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Promote teamwork with the medical staff and unit personnel
• Adhere to all hospital policies, including confidentiality and compliance standards
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement stated
• Local candidates are accepted for this position

Requirements

• Active RN license in ME or compact state
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
• Ability to function independently
