Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring an AR or compact RN license and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes individuals requiring cardiac monitoring
• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• 12-week assignment duration
• No local candidates accepted; must live more than 100 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Candidates must have been gone at least one year if previously employed at this facility
• Expect to work some holidays during the assignment
• Time off requests must be kept to a minimum and may not be approved in the first two weeks

Requirements

• Active Arkansas or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience preferred
• RNs must pass a basic dysrhythmia test, with two attempts allowed
• Two professional references required
• Copy of certifications, state license, and background check required for consideration
