Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with BLS, ARRT, advanced mammography certification, and Ohio licensure to perform screening and diagnostic mammography in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Position located primarily at a breast center with some support at satellite outpatient locations
• Work includes both screening and diagnostic mammography at the breast center, and all screening mammography at satellite sites
• Procedures include digital and 3-D mammography using Hologic (Tomo) equipment
• Work schedule is day shift with rotating hours between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday
• Holiday weeks may require four 10-hour shifts
• Occasional Saturdays and variable shifts required when supporting mobile services
• Patient volume ranges from 10 to 15 per shift
• No biopsy procedures are required for this role
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after contract signing as mandated by the state
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Candidates who have previously worked at the facility must have at least a six-month break before being eligible for assignment
• All requests for time off must be submitted and approved as part of the contract
• Scrubs or professional attire required as per assignment policy
• License required if applicable

Requirements

• Active BLS certification required
• Current ARRT certification and ARRT Advanced Mammography certification required
• Ohio Department of Health license required
• Experience with screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3-D mammography procedures required
• Knowledge of Digital Hologic (Tomo) equipment preferred
• Outpatient mammography experience preferred
• Two professional references required, including one from a supervisor or manager
