Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience and a NH or compact license.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a 30-bed Intensive Care Nursery within a children's hospital environment
- Average daily census is 22-24 neonatal patients
- Expect rotation between day and night shifts for a 36 hour work week
- Floating required to the Chad Inpatient Unit, including Pediatrics, Pediatric Step Down, and PICU
- Assignments matched to skill level when floating
- Travel nurses do not attend deliveries
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in an advanced neonatal intensive care setting
- Full services of a children’s hospital are available within the unit
- Coverage will include both day and night shifts
- Assignments begin in March only
Requirements
- Active NH or compact RN license required throughout the assignment
- Current BLS certification required
- Recent experience in Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma within the last 2 years
- No local candidates; must live outside a 75-mile radius
