Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience and a NH or compact license.

Responsibilities

Position is in a 30-bed Intensive Care Nursery within a children's hospital environment
Average daily census is 22-24 neonatal patients
Expect rotation between day and night shifts for a 36 hour work week
Floating required to the Chad Inpatient Unit, including Pediatrics, Pediatric Step Down, and PICU
Assignments matched to skill level when floating
Travel nurses do not attend deliveries
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in an advanced neonatal intensive care setting
Full services of a children’s hospital are available within the unit
Coverage will include both day and night shifts
Assignments begin in March only

Requirements

Active NH or compact RN license required throughout the assignment
Current BLS certification required
Recent experience in Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma within the last 2 years
No local candidates; must live outside a 75-mile radius
