Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for acute care hospital day shifts, requiring 2 years of recent experience and a current CA license.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care hospital setting
- Day shifts, 5x8 hours per week, with some weekend shifts required
- Use Paragon charting system, with training provided
- Floating may be required according to policy and orientation will be provided
- Local travelers are accepted at the same pay rate
- Must provide two professional references from supervisors within the past two years
- Full seven-year work history with all gaps explained is required
- Requests for time off must be submitted prior to offer and will not be approved afterward
- Orientation will be provided for floating to different units as needed
- Candidates must wear attire consistent with facility guidelines
- Vaccination and testing requirements may apply and will be communicated prior to assignment
Requirements
- Current and valid CA Physical Therapy license required; no EMSA accepted
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in acute care physical therapy
- BLS certification required
- Ability to float as needed within facility according to experience and orientation
- Clean background (no DUI background hits)
