Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least two years of operating room experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the hospital's main operating room on the ground floor
- Handle a range of surgical cases including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gyn
- Day shifts are 10 hours, Monday through Friday, from 6:45 am to 5:15 pm
- No on-call responsibilities during the assignment
- Thirteen-week contract
- Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Returning staff who were permanently employed must have a two-year gap before returning as travelers
- Request time off up front; RTO cannot be requested after offer
- Must be able to provide permanent address, last four digits of SSN, email, and phone number for consideration
- All certifications must be current; copies required
- First-time travelers are accepted
- No references required at submission but they are needed during compliance
- Business casual attire or scrubs as per unit policy
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of two years of recent operating room RN experience
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
