Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least two years of operating room experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the hospital's main operating room on the ground floor
• Handle a range of surgical cases including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gyn
• Day shifts are 10 hours, Monday through Friday, from 6:45 am to 5:15 pm
• No on-call responsibilities during the assignment
• Thirteen-week contract
• Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Returning staff who were permanently employed must have a two-year gap before returning as travelers
• Request time off up front; RTO cannot be requested after offer
• Must be able to provide permanent address, last four digits of SSN, email, and phone number for consideration
• All certifications must be current; copies required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• No references required at submission but they are needed during compliance
• Business casual attire or scrubs as per unit policy

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of two years of recent operating room RN experience
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
