Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Texas requiring a TX or compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a medical-surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift hours from 07:00 to 19:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient population consists of adult medical-surgical patients
• No specific unit or department floating requirements mentioned
• Responsible for providing direct and comprehensive nursing care to adult med/surg patients
• Must provide quality documentation and manage patient care effectively
• Open to both local and travel candidates at the same pay rate

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical RN experience
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and CPI required
• Date of birth, social security number (full or last four digits), and driver’s license required for consideration
• No current employment with Tenet Health or employment within the previous 12 months
