Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Massachusetts requiring MA licensure and Cath Lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiovascular Suite providing care to cardiac patients
• Day shifts are 10 hours, scheduled between 7am-5pm or 8am-6pm
• Department requires participation in overnight and weekend on-call shifts, typically 2-3 overnight calls per week and/or 1-2 weekends per month
• 30-minute response time required during call shifts
• Epic EMR is used and experience with this system is required
• Responsibilities include providing specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including care for patients undergoing interventional procedures
• Pass/fail Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing may be required
• Team-oriented environment with support from experienced cardiovascular staff
• Parking at the facility may be costly depending on location

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• BSN preferred
• Cath Lab experience required
• Experience with interventional radiology and proficiency in balloon pumps preferred
• Ability to take call for STEMI patients
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required during onboarding with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions allowed)
• Must be separated from prior employment with the health system for at least 6 months to be eligible
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
