Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology Nurse Coordinator/Navigator clinic position requiring a MA RN license and prior oncology experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a clinic-based oncology nurse coordinator/navigator role
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM day shifts
- No call, weekends, or holiday coverage required
- Solid tumor unit features 27 treatment bays and clinic exam rooms
- Role involves managing oncology patients and collaborating with providers
- Uses Epic EMR for all clinical documentation and workflow
- Responsibilities include patient coordination, navigation, education, and support throughout the oncology treatment process
- Collaboration closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Mandatory Tele/ECG and Medication test required for select campuses
- Orientation provided for clinic flow and systems as needed
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- BLS certification through AHA required
- Previous oncology nursing experience in a clinic or hospital setting required
- Chemo/biotherapy certification highly preferred
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Knowledge of inabset management preferred
- Must have a 6-month separation from Beth Israel Lahey Health for consideration
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals allowed)
