Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current BLS and ARRT or RCIS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a busy cardiac catheterization lab environment
• Daily caseload per tech varies from 4 to 16
• Shifts are day, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week
• Call is required, typically 7-8 call shifts per month including 1 weekend
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
• Adult patient population in an academic medical center
• Epic EMR experience required
• Scrubs are provided
• Free onsite parking is available
• Role includes rotating call and weekend shifts as assigned
• First-time travelers will be considered
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; additional RTO is at manager discretion
• Allied health candidates must complete required pre-start modules (approx. 1 hour)
• OSHA respirator clearance and fit testing are required before starting; travelers must be clean shaven for fit testing
• Rehires must wait 6 months after working 1 year as a traveler before returning

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
• Valid BLS and ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Proficient in scrubbing and circulating duties
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must provide two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years
• Pending state license accepted
• Must not reside within a 70 mile radius of the facility
• License required if applicable
