Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring a NJ or compact RN license and trauma certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department (Pool ER) of a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Adult and pediatric emergency patient population
• Role involves trauma care in a high-acuity environment
• Provide emergency and trauma nursing care
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
• Holiday coverage may be required
• Applicants must submit required credentials for consideration
• First-time travelers will be considered based on background and qualifications

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum 3 years of ER RN experience, with at least 2 years in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• COVID-19 vaccination plus at least one booster required (religious exemptions accepted)
• Annual flu vaccination required
