Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a full-time ASU/PACU position in Maine requiring at least 2 years of ASU, PACU, or Critical Care experience and an active ME or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings
- Day shifts consisting of four 9-hour shifts per week
- Includes a weekend call rotation
- Full-time 13-week contract assignment
- Provide nursing care to patients in pre-op and post-anesthesia recovery phases
- Participate in a weekend call rotation as part of shift requirements
Requirements
- Active ME or compact state RN license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ASU, PACU, or Critical Care setting
- Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
