Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of recent experience and a doctorate degree for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an inpatient setting providing direct patient care
• Schedule is Monday through Friday and every other Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Participation in holiday rotation is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Work involves use of rehabilitation equipment such as splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
• Main responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive plans of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
• Eight-hour non-billable orientation included before assignment begins
• All requested time off must be presented prior to consideration; a maximum of 5 days RTO allowed
• Scheduling accommodations, including block or alternate shifts, will not be considered
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Holiday and overtime shifts are compensated at a multiplier of 1.25
• This assignment does not accept first-time travelers

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient physical therapy experience required
• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required
• Valid Massachusetts PT license required; license must be uploaded for consideration
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Experience with Meditech Expanse strongly preferred
• Traveler must have their own vehicle
• Supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years required
• Recent skills checklist for Physical Therapy required
