Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications for a fast-paced cardiac IR department.
Details
- Work in a short-term acute care hospital's Interventional Radiology department supporting vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists
- Features Philips rooms including one biplane suite and a GE Hybrid room
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Patient population primarily includes adult vascular and cardiac interventional cases
- Use of Epic EMR is required
- Floating to other facilities within the state may be required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent IR Tech experience in a hospital setting
- BLS and ARRT (R) certifications required
- Washington state license required; IR/CV certification preferred
- Experience using Philips and GE imaging equipment preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- License required if applicable
- Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
Additional Information
- Work within a well-rounded, experienced team in a high-volume IR department
- Duties include supporting physicians during vascular and cardiac interventions
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years are required for consideration
- All requested time off must be included at the time of application; changes post-offer may not be accommodated
- Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within a 50-mile radius
- Transition to perm after 13 weeks is possible but not required
- Reliable transportation is required
- Scrub attire is provided
