Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele cardiac unit night shift position, requiring an active AL or compact license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Med/Surg Tele cardiac unit on the 6 North floor
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Cardiac telemetry patient population
13-week contract assignment
Uses Meditech EMR system, prior experience is not required
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate without mileage restrictions
Must complete a virtual orientation with competency-based modules
After offer acceptance, a cardiac exam must be completed within a specified timeframe
No HealthStream modules required prior to start
First time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

Active unencumbered AL or compact RN license in hand; no hits on license (past or present)
Minimum of 2 years RN experience with at least 1 year recent in Med/Surg Tele specialty
No pending or temporary licenses accepted
