Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position in California requiring a CA RN license, BLS, NRP, and advanced fetal monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift with 3x12 hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00
• Every other weekend required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Floating to sitter or helping hands roles may be required during low census or based on departmental need
• Must be comfortable floating to provide support or sitter duties in other departments as needed
• Online learning modules are completed during orientation
• Modules typically require 1-5 hours to complete via e-learning
• Only one holiday RTO (requested time off) will be approved
• Return staff or travelers must have at least one year since prior employment at this facility
• Candidates must reside outside a 50 mile radius from the facility to qualify for travel pay rate
• Local applicants are accepted at a local rate

Requirements

• Active California RN license required
• Current BLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Minimum 3 years Labor and Delivery RN experience required
• Two years of recent experience required for consideration
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must be able to complete required lab work within 3-5 days of signing contract
