Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position with recent Level 1 or equivalent trauma experience and required national certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Emergency Department
• Level 1 trauma environment with high-acuity cases
• ICU and pediatric cases may be encountered
• Shifts are either day/night rotation or mids/nights only with 36 hours per week
• Will provide emergency care to a diverse and high-acuity patient population
• Must maintain active licensure and certification compliance for the duration of the assignment
• Team environment with support for rapid patient turnover
• All required documentation and credentials must be kept current

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years is required
• ICU and pediatric ED experience preferred
• Local candidates are not eligible; must live outside a 75-mile radius
