Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position serving a geriatric population with required BLS and recent home health experience.

Details

Home health setting providing care to geriatric patients
Covers up to a 60-mile radius from the office hub
Average daily caseload of 5-7 patients
Work schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
On-call required every 3rd to 4th weekend
Uses HCHB for charting; experience with this system is required
OASIS experience required, especially for SOC clinicians
iPad provided for documentation
Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate

Requirements

Current license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience required
BLS certification required
Proven experience working with geriatric patients
Experience with OASIS and HCHB required
Flexibility to cover a large territory is expected
Proof of vehicle insurance required

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Scrubs of any color required; no jeans permitted
Training modules to be completed during orientation
Locals are accepted at the travel rate
Requested time off must be declared at the time of application; post-offer RTO requires approval
