Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN with an active IN or compact license for a day shift position requiring recent specialty experience and onsite EKG testing.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital medical/surgical telemetry unit
Patient population includes adults needing medical/surgical and telemetry care
Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
13-week contract assignment
Local candidates permitted with different pay based on residence within a 50-mile radius
Responsibilities include providing telemetry nursing care to adult patients in a med/surg environment
Must complete onsite EKG competency testing after clearance
Dress code and scrub color requirements will be provided during onboarding
Holiday coverage may be required based on department needs

Requirements

Active IN or compact RN license required
A minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience is required
No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Onsite EKG testing is required as part of the application process; two attempts allowed
U.S. Social Security Number required for consideration

Cons

Don’t work on 3north. The manager will not even acknowledge you exist and everything that goes wrong will be “the travelers” fault no matter what. She only cares about her real staff. Worst, most unprofessional manager ever.
