Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist to work Monday through Friday in a breast imaging outpatient clinic with supervisory responsibilities and ARRT M and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a breast imaging outpatient clinic
• Role supports all breast imaging needs and clinical workflows
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 50-75% of the role is clinical; remainder is administrative and changes daily based on staffing and needs
• Manages staff schedules, regulatory compliance, and coordinates with radiologists, surgeons, and oncology teams
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be willing to float within scope of clinical experience
• Responsible for scheduling staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, assisting in breast imaging procedures, and facilitating workflow coordination
• Administrative duties vary daily based on real-time needs
• Pre-employment modules (approximately 4 hours) must be completed online before start
• First-time travelers are accepted for this role
• No local candidates accepted within a 50 mile radius
• Must note requested time off prior to contract; no more than 5 days RTO per 13 week contract
• Scrubs or dress code not specified
• Monthly parking available for approximately $25, separate sign-up required

Requirements

• ARRT (M) and BLS certifications required (AHA only)
• ARRT (R), ARRT Breast US, or ARDMS Breast US certifications preferred
• 1-2 years of experience required, with a minimum of 6 months of supervisory experience
• Experience maintaining MQSA and ACR regulatory compliance
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• Must pass drug and alcohol screening including THC/marijuana panel
