Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg and PCU night shift position requiring independent practice and charge nurse duties.

Responsibilities

• Work in a critical access hospital with 25 beds
• Position covers Medical/Surgical, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Telemetry nursing
• Night shift schedule from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., including every other weekend
• Requires floating to other units based on staffing needs
• Must attend department quarterly education sessions
• Agency professionals expected to float as needed within the hospital
• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active VT or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 5 years RN experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Ability to work independently and fulfill charge nurse responsibilities
