Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and a current Maryland PT license for a Home Health assignment in Southern and Mid-Prince George’s and Charles County, MD.

Responsibilities

Home health setting covering Southern and Mid-Prince Georges County and Charles County
Adult patient population with an average of 6 visits per day
Assignment consists of day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Floating may be required within the health system or to affiliate locations
Main responsibilities include providing physical therapy assessments and treatments to adult patients in their homes
Modules are completed during orientation and annually through Relias or Net Learning portal
Scrub or business casual attire may be required per home health setting standards
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Return staff must be gone for at least 1 year before being considered
One time-off request is permitted
This is a nicotine-free facility; passing a nicotine drug screen is required

Requirements

Current Maryland State PT license required
Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
BLS certification required
Experience in adult home health care required
