Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a night shift position in an Emergency Generals and Surgery setting, requiring ARRT, BLS, and Ohio licensure.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Generals and Surgery area
• Setting involves radiology support for urgent and surgical patient needs
• Uses Siemens X-Ray equipment
• Night shift schedule: Wednesday to Saturday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• Assignment length is 26 weeks
• Role includes performing diagnostic X-Ray imaging for emergency and surgical patients
• Candidates must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Perm candidates cannot return to assignments at this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• All travelers must be nicotine-free
• RTO must be discussed during interview
• Scrubs or dress code details are not specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years X-Ray technologist experience required
• Active ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications required in hand
• Permanent Ohio license in hand or willingness to obtain prior to start; license required if applicable
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• At least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel required
• Two supervisory references in the specialty required: one from the past 12 months and, if applicable, one from the most recent travel assignment
• Negative 10-panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start is required annually
• All background checks, including BCI/FBI prints, must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
