Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with 3-5 years of experience and active ARRT and BLS certification for a variable shift role in a high-acuity emergency and surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in the Emergency Generals and Surgery area
• Variable day shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM with every other weekend required
• 4x10 hour shifts per week
• Assignment length is 26 weeks
• Work involves using Siemens X-ray equipment
• Role covers high-acuity emergency and general surgery cases
• Assessment in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate to be completed during orientation, both requiring passing scores
• Travelers must be nicotine-free; no exceptions
• Permanent staff cannot return to the facility for 1 year from the previous end date
• Assignments at any location not to exceed 18 consecutive months, with a 6-month gap required before another assignment
• Dress code and scrub requirements to be discussed during interview
• All requests for time off should be discussed during the interview process

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of X-Ray technologist experience required
• Active ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications required in hand
• Permanent Ohio license must be obtained prior to consideration; compact licenses accepted if applicable
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine/cotinine required within 12 months prior to start
• At least 18 months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel assignment
• Two supervisory references in specialty required for consideration
• License required if applicable
